Role of Clinical Governance Expert

Weldmar Hospicecare is seeking a dedicated Clinical Governance Expert to join its Board of Trustees. As a Clinical Governance Expert, you will play a vital role in supporting the Chief Executive in providing vision, direction, and leadership to the organization.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Ensure that Weldmar Hospicecare operates in accordance with its Memorandum and Articles of Association, as well as all applicable legislation and regulations.
  2. Use your clinical expertise to help the Board make informed decisions about the charity's strategic direction.
  3. Work closely with the senior management team to ensure that the charity's operations are effective and efficient.
  4. Monitor key performance indicators and hold the Chief Executive accountable for outcomes.
  5. Participate in the induction and training of new Trustees.
Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you will need to have:

  1. Strong clinical governance expertise and experience.
  2. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
