Key Responsibilities:

  • Stakeholder Engagement: Cultivate and sustain relationships with stakeholders across various functions and the organization, ensuring effective communication and information sharing.

  • Communication and Leadership: Guide and present to senior stakeholders, showcasing exceptional communication abilities across all platforms.
  • Regulatory and Accounting Expertise: Draw upon extensive experience in regulatory reporting and accounting to function effectively within Finance, Risk, and technical settings.
  • Operational Readiness: Act as a crucial liaison with delivery teams, ensuring quality in operational readiness planning and smooth transitions to new processes.
  • Requirements Gathering: Execute thorough requirements gathering and documentation, ensuring alignment with strategic objectives and regulatory standards.
  • Change Management: Propel change initiatives with a positive attitude, motivating team members to embrace enhancements and adopt new methodologies.
  • Process Mapping: Employ process mapping and system tools to establish efficient and effective finance processes, ensuring alignment with the organization's operational framework.

Qualifications / Skills / Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business Administration, Accounting, or a related discipline is preferred (but not mandatory).
  • Qualifications in program, project, or change management are advantageous (but not essential) (e.g., PRINCE2, MSP, AgilePM, etc.).
  • Familiarity with project management software, particularly JIRA.
  • Significant experience in a regulatory or finance/accounting-oriented role within a banking context.
  • Demonstrated ability to cultivate and nurture relationships with stakeholders at all levels.
  • Strong comprehension of finance operations and processes, especially within a retail banking environment.
  • Experience with UK regulatory and/or statutory reporting.
  • Proven experience in team management and collaborative work in a Finance Change environment.
  • Solid grasp of financial control, regulatory reporting, stress testing, and financial planning and analysis.
