- Requirements Analysis: Conduct thorough requirements analysis and documentation, ensuring alignment with strategic objectives and regulatory standards.
- Change Facilitation: Champion change initiatives with a positive mindset, motivating team members to embrace enhancements and adopt new methodologies.
- Process Optimization: Employ process mapping and system tools to develop efficient finance processes, ensuring alignment with the organization's operational framework.
Qualifications / Skills / Experience:
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business Administration, Accounting, or a related discipline is preferred (but not mandatory).
- Qualifications in program, project, or change management are advantageous (e.g., PRINCE2, MSP, AgilePM, etc.).
- Familiarity with project management software, particularly JIRA.
- Significant experience in a regulatory or finance/accounting-focused role within a banking context.
- Demonstrated ability to cultivate and enhance relationships with stakeholders at all levels.
- Strong comprehension of finance operations and processes, especially within a retail banking framework.
- Experience with UK regulatory and/or statutory reporting.
- Proven experience in team management and collaborative work in a Finance Change environment.
- Solid grasp of financial control, regulatory reporting, stress testing, and financial planning and analysis.
