Cleaner - Factory Floor

About the Role
The primary objective of this position is to maintain the highest standards of cleanliness in the factory floors, edges, and ledges, as well as perform high-level cleaning tasks. This may involve participating in an IPAF course and being trained to operate MEPS and other high-level equipment.
This role requires working in a fast-paced factory environment with moving equipment, fork lift trucks, and robots. The successful candidate will be responsible for deep cleaning areas around working machinery, necessitating excellent communication skills with their supervisor and the ability to work at height in a demanding environment.
The working schedule will involve a 2-week rotation, with Week 1 spanning Monday to Friday, 07:00 to 14:30, and Week 2 covering Monday to Friday, 10:00 to 20:00, totaling 37.5 hours per week on a permanent, full-time basis.
Key Responsibilities and Duties:
- Ensure that all areas are cleaned to the highest standards.
- Maintain and store equipment correctly.
- Respond promptly and courteously to management requests.
- Adhere to Health and Safety standards at all times.
- Wear Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) at all times.
Requirements for Success:
- Ability to work efficiently and meet tight deadlines in a busy environment.
- Punctuality is essential.
- Good attention to detail is required.
- Able to multitask, be reliable, and responsible.
- Ability to carry and move cleaning equipment.
- Effective communication with management and the H&S team to report any safety issues.
- Basic English language proficiency (to engage in conversations and understand health and safety processes and procedures).
