Factory Floor Cleaner

The OCS Group is seeking a skilled Cleaner to join our team in a dynamic and fast-paced factory environment.

This is a permanent, full-time position that requires the ability to work at height and operate high-level cleaning equipment. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining the highest standards of cleanliness in the factory, ensuring that all areas are clean and safe for employees and visitors.

The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, be able to work independently and as part of a team, and be able to multitask in a busy environment. They will also be required to wear personal protective equipment (PPE) at all times and adhere to health and safety standards.

The role involves working a 2-week rotation, with one week working Monday to Friday, 07:00 to 14:30, and the second week working Monday to Friday, 10:00 to 20:00. The successful candidate will be required to work 37.5 hours per week.

The key responsibilities of this role include:

  • Ensuring that all areas are cleaned to the highest standards
  • Cleaning and maintaining equipment
  • Dealing with management requests promptly and courteously
  • Maintaining health and safety standards
  • Wearing PPE at all times

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • Ability to work quickly and to a tight schedule in a busy environment
  • Punctuality
  • Good attention to detail
  • Able to multitask, be reliable and responsible
  • Ability to carry and move cleaning equipment
  • Basic English level (to be able to have a conversation and understand health and safety processes and procedures)
