Position Overview:
We are looking for a seasoned Lead M&E Cost Consultant to become a vital part of our client's established commercial division, concentrating on projects in the metropolitan areas. This position is essential for effective project oversight, working in tandem with site teams and stakeholders. Key duties encompass financial management, addressing contractual issues, and guaranteeing that projects adhere to superior standards of quality and efficiency.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Oversee commercial functions throughout the entirety of the project lifecycle.
  • Support in the preparation of tender submissions for competitive pricing.
  • Collaborate with subcontractors and suppliers during project commencement.
  • Negotiate and finalize agreements with clients and subcontractors.
  • Prepare and present monthly valuations and financial documentation.
  • Manage variations, payments, and project completion processes.

Candidate Qualifications:

  • At least 5 years of experience in Quantity Surveying, with a focus on Mechanical and Electrical projects.
  • Experience managing M&E packages valued up to £5 million.
  • Possess a qualification in Quantity Surveying or a related discipline.
  • Strong communication skills for effective interaction in client and site meetings.
