Senior Backend Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Backend Engineer to join our team at Bloc Recruitment. As a Senior Backend Engineer, you will be responsible for implementing the APIs and user experience to expand the funding platform for our partners.

You will be part of a cross-functional team, with members spanning across at least 5 different continents. Our company is a Series A global outfit, backed by some of the most successful VC's, who's mission it is to help companies raise money and support social causes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Implement the APIs and user experience across platform
  • Be involved in highly technical level discussions, helping establish and build best practices in terms of technologies used
  • Help mentor and support Junior team members

Requirements:

  • 6+ years of experience building APIs and working with databases
  • In-depth knowledge of NodeJS and TypeScript
  • DevOps (AWS, CI/CD, ECS, Docker, Terraform)
  • Being product-focused
