Job Description

We are seeking an exceptional Senior Backend Engineer to join our team and lead the development of our cutting-edge construction management platform. As a key member of our engineering team, you will be responsible for designing, building, and maintaining the backend infrastructure of our application, ensuring it is scalable, secure, and meets the highest standards of quality.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Lead the development of our backend engineering team, mentoring and guiding junior engineers to achieve their full potential.
  2. Design and implement robust, scalable, and secure backend systems, leveraging your expertise in Java and JVM.
  3. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and prioritize project requirements, ensuring timely delivery of high-quality features.
  4. Develop and maintain a deep understanding of our application's architecture, identifying areas for improvement and implementing optimizations to enhance performance and scalability.
  5. Work closely with our DevOps team to ensure seamless integration with our infrastructure, ensuring smooth deployment and monitoring of our application.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  1. 5+ years of experience in leading backend engineering teams and designing scalable, secure systems.
  2. Strong expertise in Java and JVM, with a deep understanding of design patterns and software architecture.
  3. Experience with cloud-based infrastructure, including AWS or Azure.
  4. Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
