Human Resources Director

Our client, a fast-growing private-equity backed business headquartered in Oxfordshire, is seeking a seasoned Human Resources Director to shape the people strategy and culture of the organisation.

About the Role

As the Human Resources Director, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the organisation's workforce strategies and contributing to the company's continued growth. You will ideally have sector relevant experience (manufacturing, construction, distribution, logistics) to support your leadership of the HR function.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement a comprehensive recruitment and retention strategy.
  • Design and deliver a Learning & Development programme to enhance employee skills and knowledge.
  • Provide expert advice on risk and employment law issues.
  • Establish and maintain a strong employer brand to attract top talent.
Requirements
  • Proven experience in a similar senior Human Resources leadership role, balancing strategic and operational elements.
  • Ideal experience of delivering successfully in a Private Equity-backed organisation.
  • Education to a Degree or MSc level in Human Resources and/or CIPD Level 7 qualification.
  • Familiarity with the Levy and apprenticeship scheme.
  • Proficiency in IT systems, including HR business applications.
  • Experience of TUPE arrangements and Pension Schemes.
  • Ability to travel to other UK sites.
