Key Responsibilities:
As a vital member of our team, you will utilize your exceptional communication abilities, resilience, and empathy to assist clients in navigating their recovery journey. Your role will involve:
- Supporting individuals with mental health challenges and complex needs to engage with our services and achieve their personal goals through tailored interventions and collaborative planning.
- Employing a flexible and personalized approach that builds on each individual's strengths, acting as a support navigator to optimize resources within our service and the broader community.
- Empowering clients to make informed choices, ensuring that the services provided are centered around their preferences and aspirations.
- Collaborating with clients to create and assess comprehensive safety management plans and personalized recovery support strategies.
- Utilizing your specialized knowledge to deliver Housing Related Support, assisting clients in maintaining their tenancies and achieving housing objectives.
- Engaging with service users on a one-on-one basis, delivering a sustainable, recovery-focused support package that aligns with their goals.
Qualifications:
To be considered for this role, candidates should possess:
- Experience in working with individuals facing drug and alcohol challenges.
- A solid understanding of how substance misuse impacts mental health.
- Knowledge of welfare benefits systems and housing rights related to social housing.
- Experience in organizing and leading meetings and group sessions.
- The ability to maintain composure and address challenging behaviors in a constructive manner.
- A valid UK Driving Licence and access to a vehicle.
