Role Summary:

Our London office is in search of a Senior Structural Engineer to contribute to our expanding building engineering division. With a varied portfolio that includes international skyscrapers and innovative re-use projects, we present exciting opportunities for professionals eager to enhance their expertise. You will collaborate closely with the Structures Lead to oversee projects and guide junior engineers, working in conjunction with other disciplines within our firm.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Overseeing design execution by preparing, reviewing, and authorizing calculations, drawings, and related documentation.
  • Leading a design team while offering mentorship and support.
  • Successfully delivering multiple small-scale projects within established budgets and timelines.
  • Engaging with clients, crafting proposals, and managing project financials.

Candidate Profile:

As an integral member of our Engineering team, you will enhance our capabilities and support our collective efforts.

Ideal Candidates Will Possess:

  • A minimum of eight years of pertinent experience, ideally within engineering consultancy or construction.
  • MEng degree or higher qualifications.
  • Exceptional time management skills and meticulous attention to detail.
  • Chartered Engineer (CEng) status or an equivalent qualification.
  • Experience in high-rise structural design and sustainable engineering practices.
  • Knowledge of timber applications in contemporary structural design.
  • Ability to work autonomously and lead small teams effectively.
  • Strong foundational knowledge in structural engineering principles.
  • Proficiency in relevant design software and compliance with building standards.
  • Solid understanding of BIM project requirements.
