About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Mergers and Acquisitions Manager to join our team at Robert Walters Operations Limited. As a key member of our corporate development team, you will play a pivotal role in supporting all M&A matters from deal origination to execution and completion.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct thorough market research to identify potential UK M&A opportunities.
  • Evaluate target companies' financial performance, market position, and strategic fit with our client's objectives.
  • Initiate and maintain communication with potential targets.
  • Develop a working rapport with diligence advisors, accountancy firms, investment banks, and corporate finance houses.
  • Manage the administration of M&A deals, including preparing presentations, organizing virtual data rooms, and coordinating projects.
  • Update management confidently and succinctly on deal progress.
  • Present complex financial information and deal structures in a clear manner to stakeholders at various levels.
Requirements
  • Accounting qualification (ACCA/CIMA/ACA)
  • Prior M&A experience
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
  • Demonstrated ability to think innovatively and strategically
