About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Teaching Assistant to join our team at Higford School. As a Teaching Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting the educational and personal development of our pupils with Autism and complex needs.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist teachers in preparing learning materials and delivering classroom activities
  • Support pupils with their emotional and physical needs, promoting independence and self-confidence
  • Develop and maintain positive relationships with pupils, staff, and parents
