Position: Advanced Teaching Assistant - Full-Time Temporary to Permanent Role

Company Overview: The Supply Register Limited is a managed service provider collaborating with multiple large multi-academy trusts across the region. We are currently in search of enthusiastic and flexible Advanced Teaching Assistants to enhance our team.

Role Summary: Are you dedicated to fostering students' educational journeys and positively impacting their lives? Our vibrant and inclusive educational community is looking for a committed Advanced Teaching Assistant (ATA) to join our ranks. In this role, you will be instrumental in supporting educators in delivering exceptional learning experiences while nurturing the growth of young learners.

Key Duties:

  • Support Lesson Implementation: Assist classroom educators in the planning, preparation, and execution of engaging lessons across various subjects and age groups.
  • Facilitate Small Group Learning: Lead small group sessions, offering additional support to students who may need extra help or advanced activities.
  • Monitor and Assess Progress: Aid in evaluating students' progress, keeping precise records, and providing feedback to educators to assist in creating personalized learning strategies.
  • Manage Classroom Behavior: Promote a positive and inclusive educational atmosphere by applying behavior management techniques and offering pastoral care to students as necessary.
  • Resource Creation: Contribute to the development of educational resources, including lesson plans, worksheets, and materials tailored to meet the diverse needs of learners.
  • Collaborative Efforts: Work in partnership with educators, support staff, and external partners to foster a culture of continuous improvement and student achievement.

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Minimum Level 3 qualification in Teaching and Learning Support or equivalent (preferred but not mandatory).
  • Experience in a classroom environment, ideally as a Teaching Assistant or Advanced Teaching Assistant (preferred but not mandatory).
  • Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively with students, educators, and parents/carers.
  • Adaptability, flexibility, and a positive approach to supporting the varied needs of students and the educational community.
  • Understanding of relevant safeguarding protocols and a commitment to promoting the welfare of children and young people.
