Job Description:

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Supporting Teaching Assistant to join our team at Teaching Personnel. As a Supporting Teaching Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting teachers and pupils in the classroom, helping to create a positive and inclusive learning environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support teachers in the classroom, assisting with lesson planning and delivery
  • Work with pupils to develop their skills and knowledge, promoting their social, emotional, and academic growth
  • Assist with the management of pupil behavior, maintaining a safe and respectful learning environment
  • Communicate effectively with teachers, pupils, and parents, providing regular updates and feedback
  • Contribute to the development of a positive and inclusive school culture, promoting diversity and equality

Requirements:

  • Relevant qualifications and experience in education or a related field
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a team, supporting teachers and pupils
  • Flexibility and adaptability, with a willingness to learn and develop new skills
  • DBS clearance and the ability to subscribe to the Update Service
