Job Details

Job Role: We are seeking enthusiastic and dedicated individuals to join our team as Teaching Assistants, supporting students with complex needs and autism.

Visa Sponsorship: Unfortunately, we cannot sponsor visas for this role.

Key Stage: The successful candidate will work with students across various key stages, including Early Years, Key Stage 1, Key Stage 2, Key Stage 3, Key Stage 4, and Key Stage 5.

Working Pattern: The role will involve working part-time, approximately 29.17 hours per week, over 39 weeks per year, with a specific schedule of Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday 9.00am - 3.10pm, and Wednesday 9.00am - 4.00pm.

Contract Type: This is a permanent contract.

Salary: The salary for this role will be between £23,500 and £24,294 per annum, with an actual salary of £15,925 - £16,463 per annum.

Pay Scale: The successful candidate will be employed on a Grade C, Scale Point 5 pay scale.

Requirements

Qualifications: We are looking for individuals with a recognized qualification in supporting teaching and learning or health and social care, as well as Functional Skills level 2 in Maths and English, equivalent or higher.

Experience: It would be advantageous for applicants to have experience working with Autistic Spectrum Condition (ASC) and Severe Learning Disability (SLD), as well as experience working with special needs pupils or youngsters in a nursery setting.

Skills: The successful candidate will require effective communication, resilience, and behavior management skills.

Additional Requirements: Support staff at our school may be asked to administer medication to pupils, following appropriate training.
