Clinical Psychologist

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Clinical Psychologist to join our team at West London NHS Trust. As a key member of our Child and Adolescent Mental Health Services (CAMHS) team, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality mental health support and treatment to children and young people aged 0-18.
Key Responsibilities- Conduct comprehensive assessments and develop risk management plans for children and young people with mental health difficulties.
- Provide specialist intervention packages using a variety of treatment models, including cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT) and systemic family therapy.
- Work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams, including child and adolescent psychotherapists, systemic family therapists, and social workers.
- Develop relationships with key partner agencies and community organizations to ensure seamless care coordination.
- Contribute to the development of innovative treatment approaches and participate in ongoing staff development and training.
- Professional registration as a Clinical Psychologist with the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC).
- Significant experience of working with children and adolescents in a mental health setting.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse stakeholders.
- Knowledge of child development, mental health, and social problems, as well as legislation and guidelines relevant to mental health.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a commitment to personal development and ongoing learning.
