About the Role

Pertemps Scotland is seeking a highly skilled Part-time Finance Manager to join their growing organisation in the Livingston area. As a key member of the finance team, you will be responsible for managing all aspects of bookkeeping for a portfolio of clients, preparing monthly management accounts, and performing daily and monthly finance tasks.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage a portfolio of clients, ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting
  • Prepare monthly management accounts, including journals for accruals and prepayments
  • Perform daily and monthly finance tasks, including banking, posting, and reconciling purchases and sales ledgers
  • Reconcile external systems to SAGE
  • Prepare and submit VAT returns
Requirements
  • Part-qualified or QBE
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in a UK-based accountancy practice
  • Experience of managing a portfolio of clients
  • Proficient in SAGE Line 50 and similar accounting systems
  • Strong Excel skills
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to work accurately under pressure and tight deadlines
