Key Responsibilities- Manage a portfolio of clients, ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting
- Prepare and submit VAT returns, and reconcile external systems to SAGE
- Perform daily banking, posting, and reconciling purchases and sales ledgers
- Collaborate with the finance team to achieve business objectives
- Proactively identify and creatively solve financial problems
- Part-qualified or QBE with a minimum of 2 years of experience in a UK-based accountancy practice
- Experience of managing a portfolio of clients and preparing financial reports
- Proficient in SAGE Line 50 and similar accounting systems
- Strong Excel skills and ability to work accurately under pressure
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, particularly for communicating with non-finance professionals
- A people person with good team working skills
