About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Category Insights Executive to join our team at Poundland. As a key member of our customer and market insights team, you will play a pivotal role in driving business decisions that shape the future of our company.

Your primary responsibility will be to provide clear and impactful insights into our customers' behaviors and motivations, promoting data-based decision-making across the organization.

You will work closely with our Trading and Marketing teams to inform and evaluate strategic initiatives, including category development, pricing, promotions, and new category launches.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Developing and maintaining a deep understanding of our customers' needs and preferences
  • Analyzing data from multiple sources to identify trends, threats, and opportunities
  • Collaborating with stakeholders to develop and implement strategic initiatives
  • Communicating complex data insights to non-technical stakeholders
  • Managing and delivering insight projects, including primary research and customer analytics
