About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Category Insights Executive to join our team at Poundland. As a key member of our business, you will play a pivotal role in driving customer-centric insights into our decision-making processes.

Your primary responsibility will be to provide data-driven insights to inform our category strategies, including pricing, promotions, and new category launches. You will work closely with our Trading and Marketing teams to ensure that our customer insights are embedded into our business decisions.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Developing and maintaining a deep understanding of our customers' behaviors and motivations
  • Providing actionable insights to inform category strategies and drive business growth
  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of customer insights into our business decisions
  • Staying up-to-date with market trends and competitor activity to inform our category strategies
