Exterior Design Lead Opportunity

We are seeking a highly skilled Exterior Design Lead to join our team at DRVN Automotive Group. As a key member of our Engineering team, you will be responsible for leading the design and development of exterior components, including front and rear bumpers, glazing, and exterior lighting.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the full design and development process for exterior components, ensuring compliance with customer-specific processes and our company's NPI process.
  • Work closely with the Engineering Analysis team to meet design targets and drive cost-effective solutions.
  • Communicate effectively with the Head of Engineering to ensure support and resources are available as needed.
  • Support the Programme team to ensure project deliverables are met.
  • Participate in formal and on-the-job training to enhance skills in software and design techniques.

Requirements:

  • Strong ability to use CAD software, particularly Catia V5, and understand CAE literacy.
  • Understanding of budget management and the importance of managing engineering change requests and claims.
  • Excellent organisational skills and time management.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines.
