Job Title: Lead Engineer - Exteriors and Closures

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Lead Engineer to join our Exteriors and Closures team. As a key member of our engineering team, you will be responsible for leading the design and development of exterior components, including front and rear bumpers, glazing, and exterior lighting.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the design and development of exterior components, ensuring they meet customer requirements and company standards.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including engineering analysis and manufacturing, to ensure design solutions are feasible and cost-effective.
  • Develop and implement design for manufacture (DFM) principles to ensure efficient production processes.
  • Communicate design solutions to internal stakeholders and external customers, ensuring clear understanding and alignment.
  • Manage and follow company quality, health, safety, and welfare policies.

Requirements:

  • Engineering degree or equivalent in a relevant field.
  • Strong experience in exterior design and development, with a focus on CAD and CAE literacy using Catia V5.
  • High level of engineering design knowledge, including GD&T and design to manufacturing processes.
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills, with the ability to work efficiently and effectively in a team environment.
