Job Title: Lead Mechanical Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled Lead Mechanical Engineer to join our team at NP Aerospace. As a key member of our engineering team, you will be responsible for leading the design and development of complex mechanical systems for our defence and security clients.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead the design and development of mechanical systems, including mechanical components, sub-assemblies, and complete systems.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure that mechanical systems meet customer requirements and are delivered on time and within budget.
  • Develop and maintain technical documentation, including design specifications, test procedures, and technical reports.
  • Provide technical guidance and support to junior engineers and other team members.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and developments, and apply this knowledge to improve our engineering processes and products.
Requirements:
  • Strong background in mechanical engineering, with a degree in a relevant field.
  • Proven experience in leading design and development teams, with a track record of delivering complex projects on time and within budget.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams and customers.
  • Strong technical skills, with experience in design and development of mechanical systems, including mechanical components, sub-assemblies, and complete systems.
