Financial Controller

Our client, a fast-growing owner-managed Marketing Agency based in modern offices in Central Manchester, is seeking a highly skilled Financial Controller to join their team.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in accounting and finance, with experience in developing and implementing financial controls, managing cash flow, and producing timely and accurate financial reports.
Key responsibilities will include:
- Developing and maintaining a small, efficient Accounts function on a Xero platform
- Implementing internal controls to ensure timely and efficient financial transactions
- Producing monthly management accounts with insightful business performance commentary
- Liaising closely with the Auditors to produce the annual statutory accounts
- Cash flow management/control, including main point of contact with the Bank to meet covenants
- Closing day-to-day contact with the Marketing team to support client tenders and accurate, timely billing of live project campaigns
This is a tremendous opportunity for a hands-on, technically sound Finance professional with solid all-round Accounts experience who enjoys and thrives on working in a busy SME business environment.
Our client offers a competitive salary up to £70k plus Bonus/benefits package.
