Financial Controller Opportunity in Central Manchester

Our client, a fast-growing owner-managed Marketing Agency based in modern offices in Central Manchester, is seeking a highly skilled Financial Controller to join their team.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in financial planning and control, with experience in developing and implementing financial systems and processes. They will be responsible for managing the company's finances, including budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting.

The Financial Controller will also work closely with the Marketing team to support client tenders and ensure accurate and timely billing of live project campaigns.

This is a great opportunity for a hands-on, technically sound Finance professional to join a dynamic and entrepreneurial business environment.

The company offers a competitive salary up to £70k plus bonus and benefits package.

Key responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement financial systems and processes
  • Manage the company's finances, including budgeting and forecasting
  • Prepare and present financial reports to the management team
  • Work closely with the Marketing team to support client tenders and ensure accurate and timely billing
  • Develop internal controls to ensure timely and efficient financial transactions

Requirements:

  • Fully qualified and QBE candidates will be considered on their personal merits
  • Strong background in financial planning and control
  • Experience in developing and implementing financial systems and processes
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
