Financial Controller

Morgan Financial Search and Selection is seeking a highly skilled Financial Controller to join our client's dynamic team in Manchester City Centre.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in financial management, with experience in developing and implementing financial strategies, managing budgets, and ensuring compliance with financial regulations.
Key responsibilities will include:
- Developing and maintaining financial systems and processes to ensure accurate and timely financial reporting.
- Managing and coaching a team of Assistant Accountants to achieve financial goals.
- Developing and implementing internal controls to ensure financial transactions are accurate and compliant.
- Preparing and presenting financial reports to the Management Team and stakeholders.
- Developing and managing budgets, forecasts, and financial models to inform business decisions.
- Liaising with the Auditors to ensure compliance with financial regulations and standards.
- Cashflow management and control, including managing relationships with the Bank.
- Collaborating with the Marketing team to support client tenders and accurate billing.
This is a fantastic opportunity for a hands-on, technically sound Finance professional to join a fast-paced, fast-growing SME business environment.
