Financial Controller

Our client, a fast-growing marketing agency based in Central Manchester, is seeking a highly skilled Financial Controller to join their team. As a key member of the management team, you will be responsible for developing and implementing financial strategies to drive business growth and profitability.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain a small, efficient accounts function on a Xero platform
- Implement internal controls to ensure timely and efficient financial transactions
- Produce monthly management accounts with insightful business performance commentary
- Liaise closely with auditors to produce annual statutory accounts
- Manage cash flow and control, including main point of contact with the bank to meet covenants
- Support the marketing team in client tenders and accurate, timely billing of live project campaigns
About the Role:
This is a fantastic opportunity for a hands-on, technically sound finance professional with solid all-round accounts experience to join a dynamic and entrepreneurial business. You will be working in a busy SME environment, with a strong emphasis on teamwork and collaboration.
What We Offer:
A competitive salary up to £70k, plus bonus and benefits package. This is a full-time, on-site role based in Manchester City Centre, with a requirement for candidates to reside within commutable range.
