Technical Support Specialist

As a Technical Support Specialist at Brown & Brown Europe, you will be integral in delivering outstanding 1st and 2nd line End User Compute (EUC) assistance to our internal stakeholders. Your main duty will be to ensure that our colleagues receive prompt support for their technical challenges while upholding a superior level of customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Delivering 1st to 2nd line IT assistance to internal colleagues, primarily from our headquarters.
  • Providing remote support to additional locations as necessary.
  • Assisting through various channels including walk-up, phone, or email.
  • Managing ticket triage and resolution.
  • Categorizing and escalating tickets to 2nd/3rd line internal support teams or external service providers.
  • Addressing hardware, operating system, and business application issues within a predominantly Microsoft EUC environment.
  • Supporting the deployment of new hardware and software solutions.
  • Administering user accounts and access through Microsoft Entra / Intune.
  • Configuring and setting up mobile devices.
  • Assisting with troubleshooting of meeting room technologies.
  • Providing training to end users as needed.

Qualifications:

  • Experience in an IT Service Desk role.
  • Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage with individuals at all organizational levels.
  • Solid understanding of Microsoft Active Directory and/or Azure Active Directory.
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Endpoint Manager (Intune) for device deployment.
  • Experience with Windows 10/11 operating systems.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft 365 Suite applications.
  • Previous experience supporting mobile devices.
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Teams Room technology.
  • Experience with Apple Mac systems is a plus.
  • Familiarity with ServiceNow or Freshservice is desirable.
