SEND Compliance Coordinator

- Salary: up to £38,000

Dovetail and Slate Ltd is seeking a dedicated professional to join a prominent educational institution.
Key Responsibilities
- Stay informed on SEND legislation and communicate essential updates to relevant personnel.
- Oversee adherence to SEND regulations, including the approval of Individual Education Plans (IEPs), and manage timelines for staff compliance.
- Establish proactive measures to identify potential compliance issues and supervise support frameworks for students with SEND.
- Collaborate with external organizations, verify allocations of support services, and maintain accurate records of support interventions.
- Compile and deliver SEND quality assurance reports for management, highlighting risks and ensuring timely evaluations of performance.
- Assist in preparing documentation for regulatory inspections, manage SEND-related intranet resources, and review institutional policies regarding SEND services.
- Facilitate the induction and training of staff on SEND protocols, support the management of SEND support personnel, and engage in relevant professional development activities.
Qualifications
- A minimum of 2 years' experience in a quality assurance role.
- Demonstrated experience in managing Additional Learning Support (ALS) or Special Educational Needs (SEN) services.
- Exceptional organizational and time management skills.
- Eligibility to undergo a DBS check.
- No prior convictions.
