Position Overview:
Advance TRS is seeking a skilled Mechanical Site Supervisor to enhance our Construction team. This position is integral to the Water Sector.

Role Type:
This opportunity can be either permanent or contract-based.

Reporting Structure:
You will report directly to the M & E Manager or Lead Site Supervisor. Your primary responsibility will be to oversee and manage all mechanical site operations efficiently, ensuring compliance with specifications and contract timelines while prioritizing health and safety and delivering a high-quality final product.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist the Site Manager in fostering a safe working environment for all personnel, supply chain partners, and visitors.
  • Ensure all relevant Health, Safety, and Environmental (HS&E) documentation is accurately recorded and up-to-date.
  • Verify that all necessary documents clearly outline the tasks to be performed.
  • Review and provide feedback on Method Statements and Work Instructions as dictated by the Project Execution Plan.
  • Supervise site activities to ensure adherence to Method Statements and Work Instructions.
  • Document the progress of work on record drawings or other appropriate means as required.
  • Log all instances of non-conformance and opportunities for improvement, coordinating actions with the responsible personnel.

Candidate Profile:
Knowledge and Experience:
The ideal candidate will possess several years of experience within the water sector, with a strong understanding of pipework fabrication, welding, and installation. They should be capable of identifying quality welding and proficient in inspecting pipelines according to Isometric, General Arrangement (GA), and Piping and Instrumentation Diagrams (P&ID).

Education and Qualifications:
  • HNC or HND in Mechanical Engineering or a solid apprenticeship in pipework and welding, complemented by relevant experience.
  • SSSTS certification.
  • CSCS card.
  • First Aid certification.
