Position Overview:
Advance TRS is seeking a dedicated Mechanical Site Supervisor to enhance our Construction team. This role is integral to the Water Sector and offers both permanent and contract opportunities.

Role Responsibilities:
Your primary responsibility will be to oversee and manage all mechanical site operations efficiently, ensuring adherence to specifications and contract timelines while prioritizing health and safety. You will report directly to the M & E Manager/Lead Site Supervisor.

Key Duties Include:
  • Assist the Site Manager in fostering a safe working environment for all personnel, supply chain partners, and visitors.
  • Ensure all relevant Health, Safety, and Environmental (HS&E) documentation is accurately recorded and up-to-date.
  • Verify that all pertinent documents clearly outline the tasks to be performed.
  • Review and provide feedback on Method Statements and Work Instructions as dictated by the Project Execution Plan.
  • Supervise operations to confirm compliance with Method Statements and Work Instructions.
  • Document the progress of work through record drawings or other appropriate means as necessary.
  • Log all instances of non-conformance and opportunities for improvement, coordinating actions with the responsible personnel.

Candidate Profile:
Experience and Knowledge:
The ideal candidate will possess several years of experience within the water sector, demonstrating a solid understanding of pipework fabrication, welding, and installation. You should be capable of identifying quality welding and proficient in inspecting pipelines according to Isometric, GA, and P&ID drawings.

Qualifications:
  • HNC/HND in Mechanical Engineering or a strong apprenticeship in pipework and welding.
  • SSSTS certification.
  • CSCS certification.
  • First Aid certification.
