We are in search of an Investment Portfolio Management Specialist to become a vital member of our Buy-Side solutions team.

This position requires leveraging your expertise and insights from the buy-side sector to contribute to the development of innovative solutions aimed at transforming operational practices. The Specialist will collaborate closely with our clients, prospects, partners, service teams, sales, and engineering departments to steer new features and products from conception to launch, ensuring our solutions meet market demands. This entails a thorough understanding of customer requirements, identifying workflow inefficiencies, and translating business objectives into actionable technical specifications.

Your expertise will play a crucial role in achieving success:

  • A minimum of 5 years experience in asset management, with a focus on alternative, structured finance, or private lending products
  • Experience in operations, portfolio oversight, or portfolio management
  • Experience in product management within an enterprise SaaS context or overseeing software solution delivery is highly advantageous
  • A proactive, ownership-driven individual with a focus on action and truth-seeking
  • Outstanding communication and interpersonal abilities with a strong customer-centric approach
  • Proficient in direct customer engagement
  • Ability to excel in a fast-paced, dynamic work environment

Your objectives for the initial 30/60/90 days will include:

  • Collaborating with the sales team to pinpoint market demands and opportunities, assessing their integration into the product strategy and vision.
  • Leading the Agile software development process by representing the customer voice to define and clarify user stories, translating them into business requirements.
  • Contributing to the formulation of the product roadmap and overseeing its execution, managing and reprioritizing the backlog.
  • Monitoring the development pipeline, including User Acceptance Testing (UAT), to ensure business units are informed of development releases and approvals are secured.
  • Participating in Agile ceremonies such as daily standups, sprint kickoffs, user story grooming, sprint reviews, and retrospectives.
  • Maintaining the product backlog and assisting the product team in daily tasks, including backlog grooming, defect escalation, and defining expected system behavior.
  • Collaborating with the UX/UI team to ensure workflows comply with accessibility and usability standards.
  • Acting as a liaison between business stakeholders and development teams by drafting business and technical requirements and converting them into epics and user stories.
  • Identifying Minimum Viable Products (MVPs) and segmenting tasks into key phases and deliverables.
  • Working alongside customer service and marketing teams to strategize successful product launches.
  • Assisting in the creation of sales and training materials for new product iterations.
  • Continuously analyzing the competitive landscape and product offerings.
