About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Portfolio Manager, Impact Equity to join our team at AXA Investment Managers. As a key member of our Listed Equities Impact Team, you will be responsible for the active management of Equity portfolios and contributing to the research efforts.

Key Responsibilities
  • Portfolio Management
    • Manage funds and/or mandates, working with other fund managers to ensure compliance with client and regulatory guidelines.
    • Support the launch of new funds and ensure implementation aligns with approved policies and programs.
    • Participate in continuous improvement of the investment process.
    • Understand and adhere to AXA IM Equity's compliance requirements.
  • Research
    • Conduct fundamental analysis of allocated stocks and produce regular updates on company progress.
    • Participate in the Impact team investment committee and promote ideas through the team's process.
    • Contribute to a collaborative work environment.
  • Promotion
    • Actively promote the franchise with Product Specialists and Sales.
    • Communicate with clients on performance, being transparent and honest in all interactions.
Requirements
  • University degree and full/partial CFA qualification or equivalent in a relevant subject.
  • Science/medical based degree preferred.
  • Experience in global equity Sustainable or Impact investment from a research perspective and ideally with portfolio management experience.
  • Experience in healthcare research is a positive.
  • Experience working in an international/multi-location team desirable.
Desirable Skills
  • General knowledge of world markets/economics and politics.
  • Strong interest in ESG, particularly social related research/investment.
  • Financial modelling skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Excellent marketing, presentational, and client relations skills.
  • Fluent in English, French language skills desirable.
  • Ability to analyze new industries/companies in a timely manner.
  • Credibility of skill set/experience to third parties.
  • Attention to detail and thoroughness in portfolio management.
  • Willingness to share ideas with other team members.
  • Ability to work well as part of a team with other investors.
  • Ability to work autonomously and manage time effectively.
  • Strength of conviction and constructive mindset.
