We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Nursery Room Leader to join our team at Nursery People. Our nursery provides a welcoming environment for children, parents, and carers, offering a secure and well-resourced curriculum that encourages play and learning.

As the Nursery Room Leader, you will be responsible for the day-to-day operations of the room, supporting the management team in delivering high-quality childcare to all children. Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Leading and managing staff within your room, acting as the primary point of contact for parent queries, and ensuring the implementation of the EYFS to a high standard
  • Identifying training needs, supporting staff development, participating in recruitment, and assisting with staff induction

Requirements for this role include:

  • Prior experience managing a room in a nursery setting
  • Relevant Early Years qualification, preferably at a higher level
  • Thorough understanding of the EYFS and experience in team leadership and development
  • Knowledge of health and safety, safeguarding, and first aid
  • Valid DBS check and budget management skills
