Nursery Manager

Job Summary:
Protocol National Limited is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Nursery Manager to lead our nursery team. As a key member of our staff, you will be responsible for creating a positive and enriching educational experience for our children and their families.
Key Responsibilities:
- Leadership and Management: Provide efficient day-to-day management of the nursery, ensuring high standards of childcare and embedding best practice through evidence-based research, literature, and guidelines.
- Staff Development: Provide training and mentoring to your staff team, including supervision, to ensure they have the skills and knowledge to deliver exceptional care and education.
- Relationship Building: Build and maintain excellent relationships with families and colleagues, promoting a positive culture and employee engagement.
- Marketing and Growth: Develop and implement strategies to increase occupancy and promote the nursery, including organizing promotional events and activities.
- Safeguarding and SEND: Lead on safeguarding and SEND, including attending core group meetings and working within a multidisciplinary team.
Requirements:
- Experience: A minimum of 3 years' relevant experience in a managerial/leadership role in early years education.
- Qualifications: A relevant Early Years/childcare qualification, Level 3 or higher, and a management/team leader qualification, DSL, SEND training.
- Skills: Extensive knowledge and understanding of the EYFS and related guidance, sound knowledge of a nursery management system, and excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
