About the Role

We are seeking a compassionate and empathetic Support Worker to join our team at our residential care home in South Shields. As a Night Flexi-Bank Support Worker, you will play a key role in providing person-centered support to our residents, promoting their well-being, and ensuring their safety and comfort.

Key Responsibilities
  • Individual Outcome and Wellbeing: Develop and implement person-centered support plans that promote independence, manage risks, and encourage relationships.
  • Activity Planning: Create engaging activity plans that promote autonomy and personal growth, taking into account the individual's interests and preferences.
  • Health and Lifestyle: Support individuals in maintaining healthy lifestyles and managing their health needs, including medication management and self-administration.
  • Communication: Facilitate effective communication and maintain detailed, person-centered records that reflect the individual's needs and preferences.
  • Safety and Environment: Maintain a safe, clean-living environment and adhere to health and safety protocols to ensure the well-being of our residents.
