Job Title: Support Worker

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Support Worker to join our team at HomeCareDirect. As a Support Worker, you will play a vital role in providing personalized care and support to our clients in their own homes.

About the Role:

This is a challenging yet rewarding opportunity to work with a client who requires 24/7 support due to a spinal injury. You will be responsible for providing personal care, including catheter and bowel care, as well as assisting with daily living tasks, administering medication, and promoting independence.

Requirements:
  • At least 1 year's experience of bowel care
  • Excellent spoken English language skills
  • Confidence working with dogs and no dog allergies
  • Ability to commit to long-term care for one client in a person-centred way
  • Willingness to be trained to CQC standards to meet the client's needs
  • Reliability, non-judgmental attitude, caring nature, responsibility, and compassion
  • Commitment to confidentiality and treating clients with dignity and respect
