Senior Manager of Prudential Risk and Compliance

Position Overview:
This role is focused on overseeing prudential risk within Amazon Payments UK Limited. The Global Risk team is in search of a Senior Manager with substantial expertise in financial services, particularly in Payment Services.
Key Responsibilities:
The Senior Manager will primarily provide second-line oversight and guidance for Prudential Risks associated with Financial Services entities.
- Design, implement, and maintain the risk management framework and appetite limits for prudential risks related to our Payments Entities.
- Serve as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) and represent the second line of defense for Finance, Treasury, and Accounting Departments concerning Prudential Risks.
- Lead prudential risk reporting, including regulatory capital calculations, liquidity assessments, and the establishment of Key Risk Indicators (KRIs) and stress-testing scenarios.
- Facilitate the Scenario Analysis process and conduct workshops with Business Leaders.
- Oversee regulatory compliance and integrate new regulations into existing policies and procedures.
- Deliver independent reporting on prudential risks to the relevant Board committees of our Payment Entities.
- Provide second-line oversight and support for Operational Risks, including Outsourcing.

Basic Qualifications:
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office products and applications.
- Experience in compliance, audit, or risk management.
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent in a numerate subject.
- Graduate Degree in Finance, Economics, or Financial Mathematics.
