Our team of Financial Crime specialists has been at the forefront of pioneering initiatives within the consulting sector, establishing advanced Financial Crime intelligence operations. We have collaborated with global regulatory bodies to enhance their AML/CFT supervision and enforcement capabilities, as well as supporting the implementation of cutting-edge transaction monitoring systems.
By integrating PA's extensive consulting expertise with our technological innovations, we are able to deliver solutions more efficiently, adapt quickly, and continuously improve — all while challenging conventional approaches to provide optimal outcomes for our clients.
Your RoleAs a Principal Consultant in Financial Crime, you will collaborate with our dynamic and high-performing teams to transform frameworks for managing Financial Crime risks. Your responsibilities will include:
- Developing and implementing technologies for customer onboarding, payment screening, and transaction monitoring.
- Engaging with senior stakeholders to build comprehensive Financial Crime compliance programs aimed at preventing, detecting, and investigating issues related to money laundering, bribery, corruption, sanctions, and fraud.
Recent Achievements: PA Consulting has successfully led a Financial Crime Transformation Program for a leading financial institution, significantly enhancing their Fraud and Financial Crime operations across various defense lines.
Our contributions included defining the strategic direction for the Fraud and Financial Crime division, managing change deliverables, establishing a robust governance framework, conducting risk and control assessments, designing Target Operating Models, and creating learning and development frameworks.
QualificationsTo excel in this Principal Consultant role, candidates should possess experience in one or more of the following areas:
- Expertise in Financial Crime taxonomies, including money laundering, sanctions, and bribery and corruption (fraud experience is a plus).
- Designing Financial Crime Target Operating Models.
- Experience across all lines of defense in financial institutions.
- Operational and strategic knowledge of various financial crime taxonomies.
- Creating and delivering high-quality learning and development programs.
- Strong understanding of governance structures and frameworks.
- Ability to develop financial crime strategies for large, complex organizations.
- Experience in multiple sectors of Financial Services, such as Retail Banking, Corporate Banking, Asset Management, Insurance, and Investment Banking.
- Insights into the evolving landscape of financial crime risk mitigation.
- Experience managing senior stakeholders in complex projects while delivering high-quality results in fast-paced environments.
- Demonstrated adaptability to meet changing client needs.
