As a Principal Consultant in Financial Crime, you will collaborate with high-performing teams to transform risk management frameworks, implement technologies for customer onboarding, payment screening, and transaction monitoring. You will engage with senior stakeholders to develop compliance programs aimed at preventing, detecting, and investigating financial crimes such as money laundering, bribery, corruption, sanctions violations, and fraud.
Key Achievements
Astro Studios, Inc. has successfully led a Financial Crime Transformation Program for a major financial institution, playing a pivotal role in enhancing their Fraud and Financial Crime functions across various operational lines.
We have contributed to shaping the strategic direction of these functions, managing change deliverables, establishing governance frameworks, conducting risk assessments, designing Target Operating Models, and creating training frameworks for financial crime.
Qualifications
To excel in this Principal Consultant role, candidates should possess experience in one or more of the following areas:
- Comprehensive knowledge of financial crime categories (including money laundering, sanctions, and bribery, with a preference for fraud experience).
- Experience across all operational lines of defense.
- Strategic and operational expertise in multiple financial crime categories.
- Ability to design and implement leading learning and development frameworks.
- Thorough understanding of governance structures and frameworks.
- Experience in formulating financial crime strategies for large, complex organizations.
- Exposure to various financial services sectors such as retail banking, corporate banking, asset management, insurance, and investment banking.
- Insight into the evolving landscape of financial crime risk mitigation and best practices among leading organizations.
- Experience managing senior stakeholders in complex projects and delivering high-quality results in dynamic environments.
