Senior Technician - BCP

BCP is seeking a highly qualified Senior Technician for our composite panels division, located in Cambridgeshire. This role is essential for maintaining the quality and efficiency of our composite structures production.

As a Senior Technician, you will be responsible for overseeing technical operations and ensuring compliance with the highest quality standards in the manufacturing process. Your expertise will be crucial in the sophisticated assembly and production of composite products.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Execute the assembly of composite products to meet stringent quality benchmarks.
  • Conduct thorough quality inspections to ensure adherence to industry regulations.
  • Provide a professional service throughout all production stages, ensuring internal and external satisfaction.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve any technical challenges encountered during manufacturing.
  • Utilize hand and power tools proficiently.
  • Achieve quality targets and ensure timely delivery of orders.
  • Complete necessary documentation in accordance with established procedures, requiring a basic understanding of computer systems.
  • Work independently while demonstrating flexibility in various work situations.
  • Participate in training sessions for colleagues as needed.
  • Collaborate with the Engineering team to enhance processes, product design, and overall quality.

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience in manufacturing non-metallic composite components, such as Carbon Fibre, is advantageous but not mandatory. Strong teamwork skills and the ability to build effective relationships with colleagues and clients through clear communication are essential.

Familiarity with 3D solid geometries and proficiency in using e-Drawings and basic Solidworks is desirable.
