Senior Technician - BCP

BCP Engineering is seeking a dedicated Senior Technician for our composite panels division, based in our state-of-the-art facility.

We are looking for a proficient and seasoned Senior Technician to become an integral part of our innovative team at a premier manufacturer of composite structures. In this role, you will be essential in managing and executing technical operations, upholding the highest levels of quality and efficiency in the fabrication of composite structures.

Your role will encompass the intricate manufacture and assembly of products, following established specifications and guidelines. Responsibilities will include performing final inspections and adjustments to detect and correct any imperfections, ensuring the delivery of superior products to our clientele.

BCP specializes in producing a diverse range of composite products for various sectors, including Rail, Marine, Aerospace, Automotive, and Architecture, as well as catering to the industrial digital printing market through the production of specialized vacuum tables.

The key responsibilities include:

  • Assembly of BCP products to exceptional standards.
  • Conducting quality assessments and inspections to ensure adherence to industry regulations.
  • Providing a professional and quality service throughout all production stages.
  • Troubleshooting and resolving technical challenges in the manufacturing workflow.
  • Demonstrating proficiency in using hand and power tools.
  • Meeting quality benchmarks and deadlines for order deliveries.
  • Completing documentation in accordance with established procedures, necessitating a basic understanding of computer systems.
  • Working independently and exhibiting flexibility in various work scenarios.
  • Occasional heavy lifting may be required.
  • Training colleagues as needed.
  • Collaborating with Engineering to enhance processes, design, and product quality.

While knowledge and experience in manufacturing non-metallic composite components (such as Carbon Fibre) is preferred, it is not mandatory. Strong teamwork abilities and effective communication skills are essential for building positive relationships with colleagues and clients.

Familiarity with 3D solid geometries and basic proficiency in e-Drawings and Solidworks would be advantageous.
