Senior Technician - BCP

BCP is actively seeking a proficient Senior Technician for our composite panels division, located in our manufacturing facility.

We are in search of a highly qualified and seasoned Senior Technician to become an integral part of our innovative team at a prominent manufacturer of composite structures. In this role, you will be essential in supervising and executing technical operations, ensuring that the highest quality and efficiency standards are maintained in the production of composite materials.

Your duties will encompass the intricate manufacture and assembly of products, strictly following established specifications and guidelines. You will also be responsible for performing final inspections and adjustments to detect and correct any defects, guaranteeing the delivery of superior products to our clientele.

BCP specializes in producing a diverse range of composite products for various sectors, including Rail, Marine, Aerospace, Automotive, and Architecture, as well as catering to the industrial digital printing market through the creation of specialized vacuum tables.

The responsibilities of this role include:

  • Assembling BCP products to meet high-quality standards.
  • Conducting quality assessments and inspections to ensure adherence to industry regulations.
  • Providing a professional and quality service throughout all production stages.
  • Troubleshooting and resolving technical challenges in the manufacturing process.
  • Demonstrating proficiency in the use of hand and power tools.
  • Meeting quality benchmarks and deadlines for order deliveries.
  • Completing documentation in accordance with established procedures, necessitating a basic understanding of computer systems.
  • Working independently with a flexible approach to various work situations.
  • Engaging in some heavy lifting as required.
  • Training colleagues as needed.
  • Collaborating with Engineering to enhance processes, design, and product quality.

While knowledge and experience in manufacturing non-metallic composite components (such as Carbon Fibre) is preferred, it is not mandatory. Strong teamwork skills and the ability to foster positive relationships with colleagues and clients through effective communication are essential.

Additionally, familiarity with 3D solid geometries and the ability to utilize e-Drawings and basic Solidworks would be advantageous.
