About the Role

We are seeking a highly experienced and strategic HR leader to join our team as the Head of Human Resources at The Supreme Court of the United Kingdom. This is a unique opportunity to work in a dynamic and collaborative environment, driving the development of our people and culture.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead the development and implementation of our HR strategy, aligning with our business objectives and values.
  • Provide expert advice and guidance to senior leaders and managers on HR-related matters, including employment law, policy development, and employee relations.
  • Oversee the management of our HR team, including recruitment, training, and development.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders across the organization to identify and address people-related issues and opportunities.
  • Develop and implement effective change management strategies to support business transformation and growth.
  • Lead the development and implementation of our diversity, equity, and inclusion strategy, promoting a culture of inclusivity and respect.
  • Provide strategic input to our business planning and decision-making processes, ensuring that people-related considerations are fully integrated.
  • Manage our HR budget, ensuring effective resource allocation and value for money.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with our HR community, including the Ministry of Justice, the Finance Profession, and other key stakeholders.
Requirements
  • Proven experience as a senior HR leader, with a track record of delivering strategic HR initiatives and driving business results.
  • Strong knowledge of employment law, HR policy development, and employee relations.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with senior leaders, managers, and employees at all levels.
  • Strategic thinking and problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze complex HR issues and develop effective solutions.
  • Experience of leading and managing HR teams, including recruitment, training, and development.
  • Strong business acumen, with the ability to understand and contribute to business planning and decision-making processes.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, with a strong focus on delivering results and meeting deadlines.
