We are seeking a highly skilled Finance Transformation Manager to join our team at Howett Thorpe. This is a unique opportunity to lead and deliver a new operational model for the finance function and academy, working closely with the Head of Finance and various stakeholders.

About the Role

This is a term-time only position, working 41 weeks per annum. The successful candidate will have a strong background in finance, ideally with a qualification such as ICAEW, ACCA, or CIMA. They will be responsible for implementing an updated finance model, ensuring robust internal controls and statutory reporting requirements are met.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the development and implementation of a new finance operational model
  • Work closely with the Head of Finance and stakeholders to ensure effective communication and collaboration
  • Design and implement a data source for budget holders, providing up-to-date information and analysis on budget vs variance on spend
  • Manage and analyze financial data to inform business decisions
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including budget holders and finance teams
