Role Overview
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Registered Mental Health Nurse to join our dynamic team in the South Kent Coast area. In this role, you will play a vital part in providing comprehensive care and support to individuals with severe and enduring mental health conditions.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough assessments of patients' needs and develop individualized care plans.
- Administer medication and monitor patient responses, ensuring adherence to best practices.
- Provide evidence-based interventions and therapies to support patients' recovery and well-being.
- Collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams, including psychiatrists, social workers, and therapists.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records, adhering to confidentiality guidelines.
- Promote a safe and supportive environment for patients and staff.
Skills and Qualifications
- Registered Mental Health Nurse with NMC registration.
- Placement Assessor/Placement Facilitator qualification.
- Minimum of 2 years post-graduate experience in mental health nursing.
- Strong clinical skills and knowledge of mental health legislation and frameworks.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving abilities.
- Commitment to providing compassionate and person-centered care.
