Senior Nurse Practitioner

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Nurse Practitioner to join our team at Kent Community Health NHS Foundation Trust. As a key member of our Urgent Treatment Centre, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the development of our service.
Main DutiesThe successful candidate will have a strong background in nursing and a proven track record of working in an urgent care setting. You will be responsible for assessing, diagnosing, and treating patients with minor illnesses and injuries, as well as providing leadership and guidance to junior staff members.
You will work closely with our multidisciplinary team to deliver a high standard of patient-focused care, adhering to the standards set by the government and the Trust. You will also be responsible for maintaining accurate records and contributing to the development of our service.

Person SpecificationThe ideal candidate will have a strong background in nursing, with a minimum of 2 years' experience in an urgent care setting. You will have a degree in nursing or a related field and be registered with the Nursing and Midwifery Council. You will also have a strong understanding of autonomous practice and be able to work independently, making decisions under pressure.
You will have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with patients, relatives, and colleagues. You will also have a strong commitment to patient-focused care and be able to work flexibly, according to the needs of the service.
