Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Senior Practitioner to join our Disabled Children's Team in Kent County Council. As a Senior Practitioner, you will play a key role in providing support and guidance to our team members, while also contributing to the development of our services.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide leadership and guidance to Social Workers and Social Work Assistants
- Supervise and mentor less experienced staff
- Deliver reflective practice sessions to the team
- Support the team manager in their absence
- Contribute to the development of our services and policies
Requirements:
- Experience in Children's Services, including child protection and safeguarding
- Knowledge of relevant legislation and policies
- Ability to work with children and their carers and families
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
