Position Details:
- Title: Retail Operations Manager
- Work Hours: 35 hours per week
- Compensation: £22,620.51 per annum (£12.39 per hour)
Our charity retail outlets play a crucial role in funding care and wellness services for the elderly. By generating revenue, our shops contribute to the establishment of retirement communities and various community initiatives aimed at enhancing the lives of older individuals.
Key Responsibilities of the Retail Operations Manager:
- Generate funds through your store to support the creation of retirement communities and community programs for seniors.
- Independently manage your retail outlet using innovative strategies to provide an exceptional customer experience.
- Lead and mentor a part-time deputy manager.
- Recruit and train a dedicated team of volunteers.
- Achieve your sales and profit targets.
- Maintain high standards of merchandising.
- Promote our mission within the local community.
Ideal Candidate Profile:
- Previous experience as a manager or supervisor in a retail environment.
- Proven track record of achieving results.
- Experience in recruiting, training, and developing a motivated team.
- Possess the 'retail instinct' and creative flair to drive donations.
- Exhibit a proactive leadership style with a hands-on approach when necessary.
- Be energetic, enthusiastic, and a collaborative team player.
- Experience in the charity sector is a plus.
